It was all merry and gay at Cartel Big J's All white birthday party held at the Nhyiraba Kojo City Night Club on the Spintex Road last Friday. The occasion was graced by Cartel Big J's celebrity wife Selly Galley and many other stars including, Pope Skinny, Keche, Prince Tagoe, Vicky Zugah and many more.

The most striking celebrity present was Kente known as Praye Tintin, a member of the erstwhile music group Praye. The group which also included Praye Tiatia now known as Cartel Big J and Praye Honeho now going by the name Choirmaster, broke up a few years back to pursue solo careers. Praye shot to fame by winning the Nescafe Africa Revelation and was famous for great songs like Angelina, Jacket, Kakyere me, Run Things and Shody.

Rumour had it recently that the group is planning a comeback and this was fuelled by statements purported to have been made by Praye Tintin and Praye Tiatia to that effect. Does the presence of Praye Tintin at Cartel Big J's (Praye Tiatia) birthday party further buttress the possible comeback? Conspicuously missing at the party was Praye Honeho aka Choirmaster, the third member of the group.

It was however all nostalgia at the birthday event as the two members present sang along some popular praye songs like Angelina, Shody and Kakyere me as they were dished out by the DJ at the nightclub. The two charged the occasion as they sang together and got patrons and invited guest dancing and shouting their demands for more and for the group to come together once again.
